
Spider Metrix is an online market research company that, basically, runs surveys that will earn you rewards. They have a large selection of clients who are willing to pay you for your opinion, and if you are willing to answer questions that relate to their brands, services and products, then you will most likely receive some form of reward.
The site has a funky feel to it, and the Spider Metrix folks have put a young-at-heart spin on the traditional paid online survey concept. They recruit testers, who they call ‘Spiders’, and they then prepare a set of profiling or evaluation questions, which is necessary in order to become a part of their panel, and ensures that only relevant information is sent your way. They will send you surveys that their clients want answered, and after that you will receive your reward.
In the last 12 months they have made 97 studies available, including those involving video games, TV programmes, new release movies, gloves, glasses and contact lenses, food, and technology – you name it! And the rewards for evaluating and offering feedback on products such as these is cash, which is usually between $2 and $5 per survey, but can reach up to $10, depending on how time consuming the survey is.
